Abigail has a very broad range of Private Client experience. She trained with a large regional firm in Oxford and subsequently practised in the South Midlands before joining Parrott & Coales as Head of the Private Client Department in 2015.
She has experience of dealng with the Court of Protection in a variety of applications and acts as both professional Deputy and Attorney for those without family or friends able to fulfil this role.
Abigail has acted in the administration of a variety of farming and business estates and has a depth of experience in dealing with relevant claims for relief against Inheritance Tax.
In addition, she drafts Wills of all types, Lasting Powers of Attorney and advises on the creation and administration of trusts.
It is important to her to support her clients in achieving their personal aims. To achieve this, where required, she enjoys working with other professionals, such as independent financial advisors and accountants and tailors her advice on a bespoke basis to meet the needs of her clients.
Outside of the office:
Abigail has almost always lived quite locally and attended Aylesbury High School. Before qualifying as a solicitor she ran her own small businesses and she comes from a family business background. In her spare time, she is a very keen cyclist, being a committee member of a cyclng club and taking part in time trials, a discipline in which she has won trophies in the past. She also enjoys equestrian sports, history and travel.
